Desi Dhamaal : A Trip to remember
Our journey to India has been one heartwarming experience, as it has been a strew of re-unions, festive celebrations, and moments that resonate the long journey to reach here.
We just recently celebrated two of the most beautiful days, our wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday, during the most beautiful times, surrounded by family, right around the heatwave in all-inclusive resort. Three days of fun and relaxation with everyone-galavanting around on their arms-was the true meaning of a family vacation. All the sisters, including both our mothers, father, and all the kids spent our days in the resort, full of laughter and warmth which could only be numb by the scorching midday heat.
Our days there felt like a blur, with the kids spending most of the day in the pool, playing games with each other and with us, never stopping to catch a break. Our daily routine felt like pure bliss—eat, swim, sleep, repeat. In the scorching heat, we did manage to keep everyone fully hydrated, with lemonade, Drinks and water flowing all day.
Every once in a while, I took time to watch my son revel at the pure joy of new experiences.Such simple things as riding in rickshaws or sleeping on the upper berth during the train ride were full of awe - new sights, smells, and sounds that made every experience sound like heaven.
The days when everyone is together, sharing stories and laughing, are the ones that enrich life. Kids need to experience living in the comfort of family, the love that surrounds them all day, every day no matter where they are or what they do. These are some of the most beautiful moments in a child’s life, lessons that should influence all they do and pass that guidance to future generations.
These are not just family visits but a testament to our strength and love among each other. This sentiment has only grown stronger since then. We have so many more experiences left. Different moments that strengthen our love and family values. These beautiful moments, out of everyday experiences, define a child’s character. Viaan is guaranteed this love and support, sharing and caring moments.
These will probably be the moments that bind him to us later in life. We will have grown old, but these moments will forever be tattooed in his mind, hashed on his skin, memories that will never fade.
